Previously a part of Smithers Rapra, iSmithers (formed in July 2008) is well established as a participant in European Projects, both as a project leader and a consortium member, focussing in particular on Communication and Dissemination. These activities are an essential requirement of European-funded projects. For example, dissemination of results is a contractual obligation of participation in research initiatives supported under the European Union's Sixth RTD Framework Programme (FP6).
